Aruba Beach Café

$-$$$, Cafe, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

User Rating: ***** 4.7

Fodor's Review:

A big beachside barn of a place -- very casual, always crowded, always fun -- Aruba serves big portions of Caribbean conch chowder and a Key West soup loaded with shrimp, calamari, and oysters, plus fresh tropical salads, sandwiches, and seafood. For less than $10, Aruba serves a mighty juicy burger with custom toppings. A band performs day and night, so head for the back corner with eye-popping views of the beach if you want conversation while you eat and drink.

Great spot - great food!

Go there! It has an unique atmosphere! It is right on the beach and always crowded. Waiting for 20 minutes is normal, but it's totally worth it! Service is always friendly, food is always fresh and the price is right. What else do you need?!

Great food and fun place

Have been to many southern FL spots and this one is among the best. It can get a little noisy at times, and usually a 2 or 3 piece band begins at 9 most nights. But this is not a detraction, and the place is big, so you can find what you want, also has 2 large bars. Excellent food, the seafood is fresh and fabulous. You can go 2 or 3 times in a week, because the value and quality are assured.
