Casa Ybel Resort

Fodor's Review:

At this time-share resort, palms, ponds, a footbridge, and gazebos set the mood on 23 acres of gulf-facing grounds. Inside the two-floor stilt buildings, the one- and two-bedroom apartments are roomy and contemporary, with full kitchens, wicker furniture, tasteful patterns, and big screened-in porches that look out to the beach. The respected Thistle Lodge restaurant is in a re-created historic home with a beach view. In season (mid-March through April), the minimum stay is seven days. Pros: on the beach, good restaurants, lots of recreational opportunities. Cons: spa treatments in-room only or beachside, minimum stay requirement.

  • Hotel Details: 40 1-bedroom units, 74 2-bedroom units
  • In-room: safe, kitchen, Internet.
  • In-hotel: 2 restaurants, tennis courts, bars, children's programs (ages 4-11), pool, beachfront.
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, DC, MC, V
