Fodor's Review:
Here's a neighborhood that one day will be coveted for its harbor views, but in the meantime, lodging is humble and affordable. Painted banana-tree murals and potted staghorn ferns add character to this motel, near minigolf and the fishing pier. Rooms and efficiencies underwent post-hurricane renovation in 2004 and are comfortable and clean. Pros: lovely river view, quiet setting, small beach and miniature golf next door. Cons: no nearby shopping, old facility, limited amenities.
