Southwest Florida International Airport, which debuted an entirely new terminal in 2005 and continues to grow, is about 12 mi southwest of Fort Myers and 25 mi north of Naples. An on-demand taxi for up to three passengers to Fort Myers, Sanibel, or Captiva costs about $20 to $75, and it's about $50 to $90 to Naples. Extra people are charged at $10 each.
