Casa Marina Hotel

Fodor's Review:

Compared with nearby oceanfront inns, it's small. But Casa Marina's creature comforts and rich history -- including a stint as military housing during World War II and host to Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Al Capone in its early days -- make it a big hit with tourists and locals (especially of the wedding party kind) looking for a peaceful retreat with character. Rooms are spacious, with comfy beds, and most have some view of the ocean. Unwind in the large courtyard behind the hotel with a drink from the bar, or take a stroll on the beach. Take note that Friday and Saturday night can get a little noisy with the Penthouse Lounge (and all those drunken groomsmen) in operation.

  • Hotel Details: 7 rooms, 16 suites
  • In-room: refrigerator, Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: 2 restaurants, room service (some), bars, beachfront, public Wi-Fi, parking (free), no-smoking rooms.
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, MC, V
