Fodor's Review:

Travelers who want to stay in the heart of historic St. Augustine but don't want to be surrounded by antiques and chintz will find this Spanish colonial-inspired hotel (read: non-B&B) overlooking Matanzas Bay a comfortable and convenient alternative. Nineteen separate buildings make up the non-traditional Hilton property, most of which have water or city attraction views. Given its location in the thick of the Oldest City, the hotel caters to the tourist throngs with services such as in-room refrigerators, coin laundry, and cell phone rentals. Staff are knowledgeable about the local attractions and dining options and are happy to offer suggestions. Pros: location, comfortable beds, great for families. Cons: 4 PM check-in, expensive parking, noise from the road.
