Connecting the north and south banks of the St. Johns River, in Jacksonville, the S.S. Marine Taxi runs between several locations, including the Hilton Jacksonville Riverfront and the Jacksonville Landing. During football season, the water taxi also makes trips to ALLTEL Stadium on game days and for special events like the Florida/Georgia game. The one-way trip takes about five minutes. The ferry runs Sunday-Thursday 11 AM-9 PM; Friday and Saturday 11 AM-11 PM (except during rain or other bad weather). Round-trip fare is $5 adults, $4 children; one-way fare is $3 adults, $2 children.
