$$$$, Key West
Fodor's Review:
You know what to expect from this chain hotel: standard, well-maintained rooms, predictable service, and competitive prices. This one also happens to be on a prime 7-acre piece of property with ocean views. Accommodations are cheerful, if uninspired, with Caribbean-style light-color furniture and linens in coordinated tropical colors. Rooms have screened-in balconies, too. The palm-shaded pool looks over the Atlantic, and a covered picnic area with a large barbecue grill encourages socializing. Pros: big pool area, Tiki Bar. Cons: overhead plane noise, a trek to Duval Street.
