¢-$$$, Downtown
Fodor's Review:
If your vacation is based on boats, basketball, business, or bargains, you can't do much better than the Hyatt Regency, thanks to its adjacent convention facilities and prime location near the Brickell Avenue business district, Bayside Marketplace, AmericanAirlines Arena, the Port of Miami, and downtown shopping. Distinctive public spaces are more colorful than businesslike, and guest rooms are a blend of avocado, beige, and blond. The James L. Knight International Center is accessible without stepping outside, as is the downtown Metromover and its Metrorail connection. The hotel is situated at the mouth of the Miami River. Pro: Central downtown business location. Con: Not a vacation spot.
