Fodor's Review:
There is no other hotel quite like the St. Michel, where each room is individually decorated with antiques imported from England, Scotland, and France by the owner. Built in 1926, this historic and intimate inn has glass chandeliers suspended from vaulted ceilings in the public areas. Dinner at the superb Restaurant St. Michel is a must, but there is also a more casual bar and dining area behind the lobby, better suited for quiet breakfasts or late-night aperitifs. The St. Michel is nearly always fully booked so reserve early. Pros: Personal service, good free Continental breakfast, and European sensibility. Con: Slightly less than luxurious.
