Fodor's Review:
"It's getting happy in here" is one of Emeril Lagasse's stock phrases, and now he has brought his brand of happy to Miami Beach. You can expect a different gumbo each day and other New Orleans specialties at Lagasse's ninth restaurant, which appears to have the winning formula down, though the seafood naturally shines in these parts (an andouille-crusted redfish and a Louisiana crabmeat salad signal the imported Lagasse touch) and the chef has his own worthy, meringue-happy take on key lime pie. And, as a bonus, the restaurant delivers without even a hint of South Beach attitude.
