Casa Moderna Review
In the Marquis high-rise residential building downtown, Casa Moderna (formerly Tempo Miami, a Rock Resort) offers a splendid boutique experience of contemporary luxury, with LCD TV screens built into bathroom mirrors and floor-to-ceiling windows peering over downtown. The hotel is steps from such major venues as the Arsht Performing Arts Center, Museum Park, and AmericanAirlines Arena. The signature restaurant, Amuse, specializes in small plates and tapas, which are matched perfectly with killer cocktails. Unfortunately, the beautiful rooftop pool was built between tower wings, creating a wind-tunnel effect that makes lying out in the sun a bit chilly.
