Northeast Coast Restaurants

Taste of Thai

Taste of Thai Review

Ravenous regulars dominate the tightly packed tables at this warm family-owned restaurant in a nondescript strip mall down the street from Memorial Medical Center (which would explain the many diners in scrubs). For more than 10 years, proprietress Aurathai Sellas, who might just be the most cheerful person in the entire restaurant business, has prepared the exotic dishes of her homeland, including pla lad prig (hot and spicy fish), goog thod (crispy shrimp), and chicken in peanut sauce, as well as pad thai. There may be fancier Thai restaurants in town, but none has the service and loyalty of this one. Reservations are accepted for parties of six or more.
