Northeast Coast Sights

Neptune Beach Review

Nestled between Atlantic and Jacksonville beaches, this is a great destination for those wishing to combine a day at the beach with other activities. The beach, with its light beige sand, is a great family spot, as it tends to be less crowded than Jacksonville Beach. And because Neptune and Atlantic beaches share Atlantic Avenue's Town Center, with its assortment of restaurants, galleries, stores, and boutiques, beachgoers can escape the sun when they're ready for great food, shopping, and live entertainment. Slider's Bar and Grill is a local favorite, or stop in Pete's Bar for a beer so you can say you were there. Amenities: showers; food and drink; lifeguards (seasonal). Best for: sunrise; swimming; walking.
