At this re-creation of a small beach and lagoon, many of the cute sea turtles (loggerheads, green, and hawksbill) basking in the sun or drifting in the water were rescued from predators or fishing nets. Injuries make it impossible for these lumbering beauties to return to the wild. A kiosk is filled with sea turtle info, and an educator is usually on hand to answer questions. The kiosk is well worth a brief look.
