Stingray Lagoon

Fodor's Review:

In a broad shallow pool, dozens of stingrays are close enough to touch, as evidenced by the many outstretched hands surrounding the rim. Smelts, silversides, shrimp, and squid are available for $5 a tray at nearby concession stands. The fishy treats are a delicacy for the rays, and when they flap up for lunch you can feed them and stroke their velvety skin. Even though they still have their stingers they won't hurt you; they just want food. This is one of the most rewarding experiences for everyone, and the animals are obligingly hungry all day. Look for the nursery pool with its baby rays.
