Bob Marley - A Tribute to Freedom

Fodor's Review:

The beauty of this place is that even if you can't dance, you can easily pretend just by swaying to the syncopated reggae rhythms. This museum-club is modeled after the "King of Reggae's" home in Kingston, Jamaica, complete with intimate low ceilings and more than 100 photographs and paintings reflecting pivotal moments in Marley's life. Off the cozy bar is a patio area where you can be jammin' to a (loud) live band that plays from 8 PM to 1:30 AM nightly. Red Stripe Rastafarian Thursday -- soon to be a national holiday -- lasts from 4 PM until closing, and offers $3.25 Red Stripes and Captain Morgan specials. You must be 21 or over to be admitted on Friday and Saturday after 9 PM.

  • Cost: $7 after 8 PM
  • Open: Weekdays 4 PM-2 AM, weekends 2 PM-2 AM
