Fodor's Review:

One of Disney's better restaurants, this fish house's best dishes include potato-wrapped red snapper, and oak-fired scallops with butternut squash risotto. The "peeky toe" crab cakes with ancho-chili rémoulade are an appetizer that never leaves the frequently changing menu -- try them and you'll see why. Save room for the raspberry napoleon with white chocolate mousse, crispy phyllo dough, and macadamia nuts.

Flying Fish Cafe, Disney, near Epcot

Posted by SailKeyWest from orlando florida on 4/1/07
My husband and I just had dinner at the Flying Fish restaurant located on the Boardwalk near Epcot in Orlando, Florida. The view was spectacular, you can clearly see the Epcot Ball from the restaurant, and the lagoon located all along the Boardwalk. Kids can play football on the green lawn located all around the gazebo, and families rent bicycle-coaches for 6, riding up and down the wooden promenade. Truly a site to see, it takes you to a place in time reminiscent of an old New England Boardwalk. Now for the Flying Fish. This restaurant is beautifully decorated (like all of Disney), and there is a long bar all along the kitchen area, where you can watch the Chefs in action. A large wood burning grill is in clear view, and you can watch in delight as the sparks fly from the fire. Tables are casually decorated, and it is full of mostly families (so if you dont like to dine next to kids, this isn't the place for you). Dress is casual, but you can dress up if you like.
