With its dark-wood interior and hundreds of framed celebrity caricatures, this restaurant resembles its famed New York City namesake. As you might guess, hearts of palm are among the salad selections. Steaks are the reason to dine here, but most are available only at dinner. The steak fillet cooked on a hot stone is a specialty, as is the double steak, a 36-ounce New York strip for two (or one extreme carnivore). There are several veal dishes on the menu, including veal piccata and veal parmigiana, along with a 3-pound Maine lobster, and linguine with clam sauce, either red or white.

While this is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas, The Palm Orlando can't compare. The food is adequate but rarely served correctly, the service is beyond absurd. I've taken clients to this location three times and each time I have been extremely dissatisfied. Stay with locations in NY and Vegas.
