Bethesda-by-the-Sea Review

Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, were married here in 2005, but this Gothic Episcopal church had a claim to fame upon its creation in 1926: it was built by the first Protestant congregation in southeast Florida. Guided tours after the morning services are at 12:15 on the second and fourth Sunday each month from September to May (excluding December) and at 11:15 on the fourth Sunday each month from June to August. Adjacent is the formal, ornamental Cluett Memorial Garden.

The Worst place to photograph/video your wedding day

I have been hired by several clients to photograph/video their wedding day at Bethesda
by the sea. The experience was essentially so traumatic that I feel compelled to
share it. Father James told me that if he ever saw me during the service he
would stop it. I do not even move when I work but I could not hide either. This
man has taken it upon himself to terrorize all the photographers, videographers
and wedding coordinators who are paid (just as he is paid) to do our job. I feel
victimized and humiliated and even though I will probably never step foot in
that place, I think brides and grooms should be aware of what is going on at
Bethesda by the Sea. I am very professional worker and do not ever complaint to
my bride and groom to not bother them on their special day. I have worked 12-14
hour events were there was not even a vendor meal offered (even though it is
stated on my contract). But the humiliation suffered at this place in front of
all the guests and the disruption of the work I was hired to do is a little bit
too much. Father James, I am a Christian and you do a very poor job representing
Christ. I am sure God is not too happy about you kicking people out of his house
because you do not like to be photographed.
    Beautiful church on the outside.
