Schoolhouse Children's Museum & Learning Center Review

Boynton Beach's history is highlighted through interactive exhibits that make the museum a kid-and-parent pleaser. In this 1913 schoolhouse on the National Register of Historic Places, children can milk a mock cow or pick and wash plastic vegetables at the Pepper Patch Farm. Kids can buy tickets for a "time travel" train ride that immerses them in Boynton's history. A great outdoor playground castle is adjacent to the museum. Check the website for a schedule of weekly classes, like Paint 'n Play (artwork) and Munch 'n Move (nutrition and fitness).
