Located in the PGA National Resort & Spa, this eatery draws guests, locals, and tourists alike eager for a taste of its fired-up Vulcan steaks (Vulcan to meat-eaters is like Titelist to golfers—the best equipment around). The she-crab soup with sherry is a favorite from the sea, as are the raw bar items, like Middleneck clams and tuna tartare. Bright red banquettes, slate-tile walls, private rooms, and an impressive glass-walled wine cellar create a relaxed, contemporary setting that spills out onto the equally chic adjoining lobby bar, which becomes quite the scene on weekend nights when a DJ spins.
