Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast Sights

Lake Worth Beach

Lake Worth Beach Review

Opening a new chapter on waterfront entertainment, Lake Worth's "casino" (not the craps and poker kind, but a retail promenade) is scheduled to debut in late 2012, with two restaurants, a surf shop, an ice cream shop, and more. This is particularly good news for Omphoy and Four Seasons guests, who are steps away; Sabal Palm House is close by too, and the Ritz is 2 miles down the coast. The beach is already buzzing, with an Olympic-size swimming pool, a fishing pier, and the always-packed luncheonette Benny's (there are plans to keep the joint jumping until midnight on weekdays and 1 am on weekends once the casino rolls out). Amenities: water sports; food and drink; lifeguards; parking; showers; toilets. Best for: partyers; sunsets; swimming.
