St. Petersburg Museum of History Review

Learn about the history of the Tampa Bay region, from the Tocobaga Indians to America's first commercial airline, at the St. Petersburg Museum of History. Exhibits include those on American Indian primitive shell tools and early aviation. There's also a full-size replica of the Benoist Airboat flown by pioneer aviator Tony Jannus.

    Teeny little history museum

Very small historical museum at the foot of The Pier. Exhibits vary, can be fairly good (saw a nice one on historic 1920's Golden Age hotels of St. Pete). Not essential, but can make an OK pop-in.
