Marchand's Bar & Grill Review
Opened in 1925, this wonderful restaurant in the posh Renaissance Vinoy Resort has frescoed ceilings and a spectacular view of Tampa Bay. Upscale and special-occasion diners are drawn to Marchand's by an imaginative menu, which changes often, though mainstays include the crab cakes and calamari. There's always the salmon, too. For early birds, the 1925 menu (named for the year the hotel originally opened) offers a four-course meal for just, as you may have guessed, $19.25. Sushi is available Thursday through Saturday. The wine list is extensive, including a number of by-the-glass selections.
