Dolphin Beach Resort Review

If you don't want to stay at a chain but can't afford a huge resort, this beachfront spot is probably a good choice. Although it doesn't have the glitz and glamour of the Tradewinds or the Don, it's an attractive, friendly property that's about as conveniently located as you can get out on St. Pete Beach. Rooms are average in size and have all the basics. You'll find a Publix supermarket across the street, as well as Dolphin Landings, where you can book sailboat and sunset party cruises. A word of warning: if you want a room with a view that doesn't consist of the parking lot, be sure to request one with your reservation; the rock-bottom room rates come only with the less spectacular rooms. Beachfront rooms open right out to the beach.
