Fodor's Review:
The market, an institution on Edgewood Avenue since 1923, sells flowers, fruits, and vegetables, and a variety of meat -- everything from fresh catfish to foot-long oxtails. Vendors also include an Italian deli, an organic coffee shop, and a smoothie shop. Individual stalls are run by their owners, making this a true public market. Don't miss the splendid totemic sculptures by Atlanta artist Carl Joe Williams.
