Flying Biscuit

¢-$$, Eclectic, Candler Park

User Rating: **** 4.0

Fodor's Review:

There's an hourlong wait on weekends for the big, fluffy biscuits served with cranberry-apple butter. Other huge hits at this cheery spot include sausage made with free-range chicken and sage, and bean cakes with tomatillo salsa. Fancier dinners include roasted chicken and turkey meat loaf with pudge (mashed potatoes). There are also plenty of vegetarian options. Next door is a bakery serving biscuits to go, as well as freshly baked muffins and cookies.

Not the best biscuits in town

Posted by James from Georgia on 9/12/06

Overrated biscuits. Too sweet and not fluffy. Music too loud. Staff handles special orders very well. Price is good. I just can't let all those "5" ratings go unchallenged.
