Varasano's
Varasano's Review
Jeff Varasano was 14 when he set the country's Rubik's Cube record. Though this makes the software engineer proud, it barely registers when compared to his most recent feat: building the perfect pizza. After experimenting at home, configuring his oven so it could shoot up to 800 degrees without burning down his house, he wrote a 22,000-word manifesto on the process. It quickly became an Internet sensation and led to a series of tastings with pizza fanatics from around the world. Now Varasano has a restaurant that serves thin, lightly charred pies along with pastas, salads, and rich Italian donuts.
