Miso Izakaya Review
Chef-owner Guy Wong's izakaya (Japanese pub) has gathered a following for his well-executed menu of mostly small plates. Skip the sushi bar for a sampling of crispy duck buns and a noodle bowl with pork belly. Waits can be long on Saturday, as the dining room is small, and the waitstaff can be inconsistent: order a drink immediately in case it takes a while for the food to arrive. Wong likes to run specials, such as the ramen he recently made from scratch and served for lunch, when the restaurant's usually closed. Check the website for details.
