In a rustic structure dating to colonial days, tucked in among ancient oaks dripping with Spanish moss, you'll find a very creative kitchen. Entrées include pan-seared veal medallions with artichoke hearts and capers in lemon butter; roasted half duckling with a port-wine lingonberry sauce; and local shrimp stuffed with scallops and crabmeat and served with a lemon beurre-blanc sauce. There's a ghost story to go with dinner, so make sure the waiter fills you in.

Would love to be able to review the food but we were dressed a bit casually and were made to feel very unwelcome at the door. We had been told that casual dress was acceptable and were definitly acceptable at all the other restaurants in Savannah - Ended up at the Pink House and were treated warmly.

We were the subject of a "sales pitch" while in the History Museum (this should have been our 1st clue - that they were having to hire salespeople to get clients into their restaurant!) and were given a coupon for buy one, get one free. Even at 1/2 price, it was not worth the effort. All members of the wait staff were rude & surly & acted as if we were intruding upon their time. The food was slow arriving, tasteless & skimpy on the portions for the prices they were charging. And as if that weren't enough, we parked where the salesman told us to and ended up having to move the car!! Stay away from this one. There are far, far better choices in this beautiful city!
