This Holiday Inn-managed property is ensconced in an 1860s livery stable that later became a cotton warehouse and then a Coca-Cola bottling plant. Gleaming heart-pine floors and antiques, including a handsome English grandfather clock and an exquisitely carved Victorian mantel, make it unique. The pianist hitting the keyboard of a baby grand every afternoon adds to the elegant flair. The café is a notch nicer than most other Holiday Inn restaurants. An executive wing, at the back of the hotel, is geared to business travelers.

We stayed at the Mulberry this week and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, quiet, great service, room service breakfast was very nice. The air conditioning worked great. We loved it and will reccomend it to everyone.
