There's a romantic ambience in this upscale restaurant with a warmly lighted interior, a lovely stone fireplace, and dark rose-painted walls. Chef Robert Wood puts a refreshing spin on favorites such as a grilled rack of lamb, served with spinach, olives, and mushrooms tossed with Israeli couscous and apricot and fig chutney. The sautéed black grouper is a treat, served over bamboo rice with Asian slaw and coconut curry. The restaurant's beachfront sister, North Beach Grill, is way more casual, serving burgers by day and jerk chicken and pork in the evening.

We live on Tybee and are very glad we have Georges'. We love the place and take all our guests there. Everyone has been impressed.
Savannah has fine restaurants and Georges' ranks with the best - and we don't have to leave the island.
