Carriage & Horses Review
International cuisine is served in this Victorian house north of town and overlooking the horse pastures of Grey Eagle Farm. The eclectic menu includes escargots, alligator with mushroom and lemon sauce, grilled trout (a house specialty), and filet mignon served with garlicky mashed potatoes. The restaurant's wide windows and patio make it a local favorite for sunset dining, and often local artists play assorted easy-listening '40s and '50s music.
