On your way back from Cumberland Island, stop in at this small, fascinating museum. It's a natural in a town that owes much of its existence to the nearby Kings Bay Naval Base, home of the Atlantic Trident fleet. The museum has an extensive collection of photos and artifacts, including uniforms, flags, scale models, designs, sonar consoles, hatches, working steering positions, and a working periscope.
