Kona Tiki Hotel Review
The best thing about this three-story walk-up budget hotel, about a mile south of downtown Kailua Village, is that all the units have lanai right next to the ocean. The rooms are modest but pleasantly decorated. You can sunbathe by the seaside pool, where a complimentary Continental breakfast is served. Some would call this place old-fashioned; others would say it's local, has a certain kitschy, Hawaiiana retro charm, and is the best deal in town.
