Set on several acres in upper South Kohala, these two rental cottages are clean, comfortable, and well stocked with beach toys, towels and mats, snorkel gear, body boards, kayaks, fishing gear, laptop computers, books, cable TV, videos, you name it. The price is right, and they are just a 10-minute drive from the Kohala Coast. There is a minimum stay of five nights, though this rule is sometimes waived, depending on availability. The owners give generous discounts for extended stays, so check the Web site.
