Harbor House Review

This open-air restaurant on the docks at Kona's busy harbor is a fun place to grab a beer and a bite after a long day fishing, surfing, or diving. The venue is nothing fancy but Harbor House is a local favorite for fresh-fish sandwiches and a variety of fried fish-and-chip combos. The icy schooners of Kona Brewing Company ale don't hurt, either.

    Harbor House Review

I'm a local and live about 70 miles from this restaurant -- yet, I ate there Friday for the 100th time. OK, an exageration! I recommend this restaurant to all my friends from the mainland. The food is excellent - fresh fish as a sandwich or dinner; wonderful ambiance and a neat mix of customers: locals, fisherman, tourists and the like. And, it is a great value!!
