Waikiki Sand Villa Review

Families and others looking for an economical rate without sacrificing proximity to Waikiki's beaches, dining, and shopping return to the Waikiki Sand Villa year after year. It's on the corner of Kaiulani Avenue and Ala Wai Boulevard, a three-block walk to restaurants and the beach. There's a high-rise tower and a three-story walkup building of studio accommodations with kitchenettes. Rooms are small but well planned. Corner deluxe units with lanai overlook Ala Wai Canal and the golf course. The Sand Bar & Grill comes alive at happy hour (twice a day) with a great mix of hotel guests and locals who like to hang out and "talk story."
