It's tricky to find The Study at the Modern Honolulu—it's behind a huge, revolving bookcase in the lobby behind the registration desk. It's an überchic space, with intimate alcoves and oversized sofas that are both hip and inviting. The literary-themed cocktails, like the "Huckle Berry Finn" and the "War and Peace," are pricey but cool.
