North Shore Kauai
Getting Here and Around
There is only one road leading beyond Princeville to Kee Beach at the western end of the North Shore: Route 560. Hanalei's commercial stretch fronts this route, and you'll find parking at the shopping compounds on each side of the road. After Hanalei, parking is restricted to two main areas, Haena Beach Park and a new lot at Haena State Park, and there are very few pullover areas along Route 560. Traffic is usually light, though the route can become congested right after sunset.
