    Mana Yoga Vacation Rentals Review

This vacation rental was very unclean with years of dust and cobwebs and spiders both dead and alive behind the headboard of the master bed and in the other bedrooms, kitchen and living room area. In the corners of the walls along the baseboards were little bugs and dirt. There were spiders throughout the whole rental along with a colony of ants in the grout on the kitchen counter. We also found a centipede but got rid of that quickly. We spent 2 hours vacuuming and cleaning on the first day just so we could feel somewhat comfortable staying here. The cushions on the furniture were all dirty with years of sunscreen buildup. The throw rugs needed to be tossed out and there was assorted junk and cardboard boxes in the clothes closet. The telephone and WiFi did not work and also the smoke detector was disconnected. .We were also kept up 2 nights by the owners' barking dog. It did have beautiful grounds and lots of fresh fruit and veggies to pick. The view of the mountains and the sunrises and sunsets were nice to see. She also has lots of beach gear to borrow. This place has not been maintained for years and it's a shame because it could be a great place to stay if it were well maintained and properly cleaned. If you like a clean, comfy place to stay that is free of bugs and dirt, then I would look elsewhere. We were stuck here for 6 nights and it really made our vacation on the North Shore of Kauai very disappointing. I think she should stick to yoga classes because she has obviously been neglecting the vacation rental business for quite some time.
