The Makai Inn Review
Right on the ocean, this pleasant inn consists of 18 units, all at least 400 square feet, with four special "Hideaway" rooms featuring private lanai 9 feet from the water. All are one-bedroom except for the two-bedroom "Pineapple Sweet." The comfortable furnishings feature tropical prints and island art works. There is no daily maid service, and towels are replaced only on request, but the lanai are perfect for daydreaming. Suzie, the landlord, lives on the property, and keeps a flock of cheerful Java sparrows well fed; there's a lovely garden courtyard.
