This rambling restaurant with prayer flags strung from the ceiling and child-drawn menus has been a hit since opening its doors. The menu is comprised mainly of crisp, organic flatbreads shoveled from the clay oven, and includes vegan options. Partake in the "Punctuated Equilibrium," with Kalamata olives, and Surfing Goat cheese; or "Mopsy's Pork Pie" with kalua pork and homemade BBQ sauce. There's also a terrific mesclun salad dressed with arame seaweed and ginger-tamari vinaigrette. Portions are large and service is prompt and friendly, despite the near constant crowds.

We dined at Flatbread 3 times during our 10 day stay in Maui. Both the salads and pizzas are delicious. I loved that you could customize everything at an affordable price! I am vegan and was able to have three different pizzas (cheese free) instead of the one vegan option that is on the menu of most restaurants.
The wait staff are great - very friendly and good at their job.
