Getting around by bus on Maui is limited and car rental is recommended.
Bus Travel on Maui
Maui Public Transit, operated by Roberts Hawaii, offers seven routes in and between various central, south, and west Maui communities from Monday through Saturday. There's no service on Sunday. Passengers can travel among Wailuku, Kaanapali, Kahului, Kapalua, Kihei, Wailea, Maalaea, and Lahaina. Inexpensive one-way, round-trip, and all-day passes are available.
