Fodor's Review:
Metro brings in progressive, nationally known artists and the cream of the local crop. A former movie palace, it's an excellent place to see live bands, whether you're moshing on the main floor or above the fray in the balcony. In the basement is Smart Bar, a late-night dance club that starts hopping after midnight.
