$$, Seafood, River North
Fodor's Review:
Blue Water Grill. This isn't your standard seafood restaurant. Nightcrawlers love this spot for its sleek design, chic amenities (like farewell chocolates in a small gift box), and a menu that fishes from Maine to Tokyo. The sexy L-shape interior spans a sushi bar, a cocktail lounge with low sofas, and two dining rooms with dark tables and throw pillows on the banquettes. There's the usual raw-bar oysters and steamed lobster, but the kitchen goes to work on creative maki rolls (try the spicy Baja), tempura calamari, and buttery bass. Upstairs the jazz lounge hosts pre- and postprandial entertainment.
