Hotel Lincoln Review

Located in the heart of the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood, the Hotel Lincoln sits directly across from the park for which the neighborhood is named, as well as the free Lincoln Park Zoo and Lake Michigan beyond. The historic property now boasts a fresh, cool, kitschy vibe but maintains an authentic Chicago feel thanks to design details like the original Hotel Lincoln sign displayed prominently in the lobby. The 184 guest rooms and suites feature vintage details offset by modern elements, such as original art from local artists. For the best views, ask for a room on the ninth floor or above, facing east toward the park and the lake. Family suites are a nice option for those traveling with kids and feature two bathrooms, a king bed, and a separate sleeping area with bunk beds. The hotel adjoins Michelin-starred chef Paul Virant's latest farmhouse-chic venture, Perennial Virant. He offers a smaller menu at the rooftop J. Parker restaurant and lounge, which has some of the best views in the city.
