The Purple Pig

The Purple Pig Review

The Magnificient Mile is known for many things—stunning architecture, historical landmarks, world-class shopping—but dining isn't usually one of them. An anomaly on the strip that both locals and tourists enjoy is Mediterranean wine bar the Purple Pig. Adventurous eaters will revel in the offal-centric dishes like pig's ear with crispy kale, pickled peppers, and fried egg, and roasted bone marrow with herbs, but vegetarians also get excited about dishes like salt-roasted beets with whipped goat cheeses and pistachio vinaigrette. This is a wine bar, and it's definitely worth exploring the hefty international wine list, which includes many affordable wines by the glass.
