Chicago Restaurants

Nellcôte Review

Inspired by the French Riviera mansion where the Rolling Stones recorded "Exile on Main Street," Nellcôte blends European opulence with raw bohemian chic. Most of the menu is driven by the restaurant's in-house flour mill, which is used to make everything from pizzas (topped with ingredients like fennel sausage, local ramps, and burrata) and pastas (hand-cut taglioni and orecchiette) to desserts (baba au rhum and apple pound cake). For a quieter dining experience, avoid Friday and Saturday nights, when the restaurant transforms into a sceney club with loud thumping music.
